Unchecking this will disable the creation of a visible link when adding Child Nodes. (you can check/unckeck any time)

Normally adding a child node will automatically create a parent-child link.

Drag Child Nodes on move ?

Unchecking this allows you to move all nodes independently. Default (checked) is to move child nodes with the parent node
